How to Stop a Car with No Brakes..

bluffmaster | 08 January, 2007 10:36

Its really surprise on the steps given in this article. I just got this from one of my friend as a mail. And I hope, this will help us lot for an emergency..

Imagine this. You're exiting the freeway off that killer ramp—the one with the steep grade and the hairpin turn midway down. You smash on the brakes, and… nothing. You keep careening at 75 mph toward the guardrail, that broken length of floss that is the only thing between you and a 400-foot dive into a shallow lake full of fire-breathing alligators.

Okay, that scenario is a bit unlikely, but the fact is, brake failure can be a terrifying—and dangerous—experience no matter where it occurs. While automobile brakes rarely fail, every motorist should know what to do if it happens. Here's how to control your car safely if your brakes go out.

7 Techniques to help U Relax

bluffmaster | 08 January, 2007 10:36

Today's fast-paced lifestyles force us to push our minds and bodies to the limit, usually at the expense of our physical and mental well-being. When we become stressed, our bodies switch to a mode called the 'fight or flight response', which is characterized by increased heart rate, blood pressure, higher breathing rate, etc. Over time, these reactions increase cholesterol levels, disturb intestinal activities, depress the immune system, and leave us feeling 'stressed out.'

"Relaxation techniques are great tools for dealing with stress and promoting long-term health by slowing down the body and calming the mind," says Ashish Verma, Hyderabad-based relaxation and wellness training consultant. "Used daily, these techniques can lead to a healthier outlook towards stressful situations and a decline in stress-related disorders such as anxiety, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, insomnia, etc." (More)

Some inf about Google's usage

bluffmaster | 08 January, 2007 10:36

Google Maps isn't just for searching local businesses anymore; now you can "click to call" the business listings on Google Maps directly for free, anywhere in the United States. When you search for a business within the U.S., ring it up by clicking the "call" link next to the business's phone number. You'll be asked to enter your phone number and after clicking "Connect for free," we'll call your phone and automatically connect you without sharing your phone number with the business. The numbers you call from Google Maps will be stored automatically in your phone's caller ID, so you can call them again. And, by checking the box to remember your phone number, you can make future calls from Google Maps with just two mouse clicks.
